It's an old, run-down motel but it is basically clean, everything works and it is dirt cheap. The manager is very nice. There is a mini-fridge and a microwave in each room. No bedbugs. If you are looking for a place to sleep and hit the road in the morning, this is it. If you want to leisurely hang out, enjoy amenities such as a pool, restaurant / bar and a gym, it ain't. Go to a Renaissance or a Radisson but you certainly won't pay under (well under) $100 a night as at the Gaard.
Cheap rooms where you get what you pay for. No ice machine, old rooms with little amenities, and needs a lot of updates. Easy-going staff by being your own condiments and toiletries. Just in case.
Total CRACK dump. The wacko office guy comes pounding on your door several times. Parades around your room while you’re naked or in bed. Room reeked of stale beer and puke before I’d even been inside. But the wacko simply decided that I “broke” the thermostat when he didn’t even know a THING regarding his previous guest.

I work across the street from the hotel building the Marriott hotel and looks like a cozy comfortable Hotel
Game, I was pleasantly surprised to meet the very hospitable and personable hosts.Very nice, hardworking people. My room was clean4U and fragrant, even flickering incense if you want.Refrigerator, micro, and cable/wifi all came in handy.
All in all...b e a guest here if you can.
